Select some definite place or person at a distant point, some evening just before retiring, or sometime in the middle of the day when you can be alone for a few moments, visualizing a place; then project to it. Try projecting to someone who knows you and will report on your success.

Let yourself go when you indulge in projection. There are certain physiological sensations which may be noticeable. You may have a sense of loss of weight, or a sense of heaviness. You begin to feel as though you were dizzy, but that is really due to the fact that objectively you are losing consciousness just as you experience when you start to fall asleep — things appear to be becoming dim and losing their value.
