Tree of Life – Level 1, Lesson 2: Blessing 2

tree of life spiritual teachings

In the scriptures it is recorded in II Samuel, Chapter 7, verse 29, “Now, therefore may it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue forever before thee; for thou, O Lord God, hast spoken and with Thy blessing shall the house of Thy servant be blessed forever.”

A blessing is an invested power and privilege given to the Creation by its Creator. With this power and privilege comes the obligation to carry out the pattern and plan of the Creator.

To be blessed is to be joined together with the Creator as if He were a husband, and you—the student—a wife.

The blessing is metaphysical and spiritual wed lock. “Works is the way.” Monks, Nuns, and Priests receive this blessing at their ordination or establishment in a particular church; they are blessed into service.

The divine Master requires our whole being, in service for His honor and Glory. Before the blessing is obtained, many conditions are required of the candidate.

These blessings are especially for the following:

  1. Poverty
  2. Obedience
  3. Chastity
  4. Humility

The Way of Light is obtained in the blessings by starting with the Humility vow. When this vow is realized, it will bring about a greater desire and acceptance of the vow of Chastity. The realization of the aspect and power of Humility will bring you to the level of Chastity.

The vow of Chastity is not a condition in which a person is not married. But it is a much deeper state of Mind and Soul than just not having sexual intercourse.

The fact of the matter is that many people who consider that they are married, are not married. Legally yes, according to man’s law, they are and believe they are married.

Chastity starts with the desires of the person in respect to their thinking, of their relations to the Creator, and the desire to know GOD or SELF—also to have a close feeling with the Creator, the all encompassing one, the Elohim.

The desiring to know GOD above all other things, the realization of the marriage to the GOD of all creation, makes you chaste of all base SELF desire. This should come at the time of the blessing.

A person, man or woman, may be married and be conditioned to conform to the Law of Chastity, or should we say vow of Chastity, “if” they both have given the other their freedom to seek Self, “if” each is considerate of the other’s physical need; because the physical sexual act can, when performed in the rightful way, be a balancing of forces and giving.

It is for the purpose of bearing children, this is true, but it is also a fact that a state of Unity exists in the Godly marriage. Just not being married is not Chastity. Many people, not just men, look at the opposite sex and go through all the desires and emotions of sexual relations without ever knowing the other individual. Actually the going through the physical sex act is a very minor part of intercourse.

More will be given on this subject. In the Science lessons, Marriage will be gone into so that a real understanding can be had.

Now, if a person wishes to discipline himself for development and attainment, then abstaining will do it fine, and if single you abstain also from looking on another with desire.

Let it be understood here that we, as disseminators of basic Creative Law do not, and are not accepting or advocating promiscuity in any form, for this carries with it a Karmic indebtedness.

When Chastity has matured into full growth of consciousness, it of itself shall create the desire to accept obedience, not to a person, place, or thing but to your own inner being.

There are periods during which it is advisable to be obedient to the Teacher you have accepted, for your own Spiritual advancement.

But obedience to the Creator within, the Higher SELF, as is found in second Chronicles, chapter 7, verse 14: “If my people, who are called by my name, humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.”

Healing is a blessing in this instance; the healing may transfer the power of the blessing to their land.

Humility, Chastity, and Obedience create the virtues of Poverty. Poverty is also humility, for we are speaking of paving the way to power of the Spirit, not necessarily of worldly goods.

But really, He says, search first for the “Kingdom of Heaven” and that these things will be added to you.

When we have achieved spiritual poverty, then Jesus the Divine Son will bless us in His Father’s name, and so will come to you the Words of Jesus, “Blessed are the poor in Spirit, for they shall see God.

When we say that Humility is poverty, we are realizing the Divine Truth that those that are humble are truly poor in spirit. For humility and poverty say of themselves “we are in each other as the Father is in the Son.” Thus we can better understand that verse in Revelations which says, “I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the End.” Also the scripture which says, “that which shall be last shall be first.”

In order to have a better understanding of our lesson on blessing, read the 5th, 6th, and 7th Chapter of the Gospel of St. Matthew, the Sermon on the Mount, which teaches you the power of blessings.

The scriptures declare unto us, in the first Psalm, “Blessed is he who walketh not in the path of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor is seated in the council of the scornful.” For he shall be as a tree planted by the water, he shall not be moved.

MASTERSHIP

When these requirements are met and the Blessing is obtained, the Disciple becomes the Master and his faith shall not waver. He then becomes the TREE of Life and the Lamb of God.

The blessed Master, or shall we say the blessed disciple who becomes Master, can then present himself faultless before God’s glory with exceeding joy.

He will not stumble nor falter but have great victory. The blessing cannot be obtained before the transformation of Mind and brain can be made possible.

The 12th Chapter of Romans and the 2nd and 4th Chapter of Philippians, also the 4th, 5th and 6th Chapter of Ephesians can come to pass.

LET US PREPARE FOR THE GREAT BLESSING.

The above is accomplished only by setting our affections on things Eternal. The Key is found in the Gospel of St. Matthew, Chapter 6, wherein Jesus says, “Do not lay up treasure on Earth, where moths, rusts, etc.” Verses 19-24. Following this Key, we shall open up the Blessing. For Jesus says, “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” God will bless us if we will comply to His Law and Order.

Remember this one saying, it should be in front of you at all times: “IF YOUR EYE BE SINGLE, YOUR WHOLE BODY WILL BE FULL OF LIGHT”
