5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck
it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy
members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut if
off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy
members should perish, and not thy whole body should be cast into hell.
6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if
therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body
shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness,
how great is that darkness.
6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought
for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body,
what ye shall put on. Is not life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
10:28 And fear not them which kill the body,
but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy
both body and soul in hell.
14:12 And his disciples came, and took up the
body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.
26:12 For in that she hath poured this
ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.
26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took

5:3 For I verily, as absent in body, but
present in spirit have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him
that hath so done this deed.
6:13 Now the body is not for fornication, but
for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined
to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man
doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against
his own body.
6:19 What? know ye not that your own body is
the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are
not your own.
6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore
glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
7:4 The wife hath not power of her own body,
but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body,
but the wife.
7:34 There is a difference also between a wife
and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for things of the Lord, that she may be
holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things
of the world, how she may please her husband.
9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it
into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I
myself should be a castaway.
10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one
body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake
it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in
remembrance of me.
11:27 Wherefore, whosoever shall eat this
bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body

12:17 If the whole body were an eye, where
were the hearing? If the whole body were hearing, where were the smelling?
12:18 But now hath God set the members every
one of them in the body, as it hath pleased Him.
12:19 And if they were all one member, where
were the body?
12:20 But now are they many members, yet not
12:22 Nay, much more those members of the
body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
12:23 And those members of the body, which we
think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor: and our
comely parts have more abundant comeliness.
12:24 For our comely parts have no need: but
God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that
part which lacked:
12:25 that there should be no schism in the
body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and
members in particular.
13:3 And though I bestow all my good to feed
the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it
profiteth me none.
15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead
raised up? and with what body do they come?
15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest
not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some

a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
