"Already Given"

I'm going to take my text this morning out of Galatians 3. And I'm going to call it, the text has a bearing on the subject, but it's an indirect bearing and I'm telling you this so that you may get the coordination of it.

"Oh foolish Galatians who hath bewitched you before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? 2) Let me ask you only this, did you receive the Spirit by works of the law, or by hearing with faith? 3) Are you so foolish, having begun with the Spirit, are you now ending with the flesh? 4) Did you experience so many things in vain? if it really is in vain. 5) Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law or by hearing with faith?" That is from the first, to inclusive of the fifth verse of the third chapter of Galatians.

There are some wondrous beauties in the creation of our Father and there is wondrous power in the laws which He has laid down and used in this creation. Somehow in our fervent seeking we overlook the fact that the laws were not put there on the books just to make it possible so we could use those laws in our life. He did not lay down a law and say, 'this is the way you're going to do it'. No, this was the way He did it. He didn't have to lay it down.

The Father, when He created this situation was very cognizant of the creation which He was creating. He was cognizant of the man, or the life beings that He was going to create. He was already cognizant of the things which were within His body and the life beings there. He knew within which He held, what He held within His consciousness and His reality. And then we had the Master come to us and teach us those things which we needed to know in this age. And so we, as we study, we sit down and we say 'This is a basic law of creation. This is a basic law of creation. And here is the law of the Word. And here is the law of the triangle and here is the law of the trinity, the Holy Family, and it works thus and so and so and so', and we know it does.

But then there is something that gets in our way every once in a while, and it isn't because we don't know that it works, it isn't because we doubt that it works, and it isn't because we doubt the Father's Word of the Master's Word and somehow or other at times when we reach up and want to accept the Light of Christ and the Christos and bring it down through our Lord Jesus, it doesn't work. And then sometime or other when we try to give a blessing to somebody, something's wrong - it just doesn't seem to function the same.
"Already Given" page 2

That's because we don't understand the love of God. And I hear so much about it, I hear so much spoken about it and yet I find that nobody seems to understand it. Nobody seems to accept the reality, and I'll tell you why they don't. Because none of them have been able to acquire or attain a consciousness which could even approach the image of it.

Now when you go to buy a Christmas present or a birthday present for somebody you always think of something that 'Well, I think he can use this; he knows how to'. Or she. Maybe it's something to sew with or maybe it's a tool of some kind for a man or maybe it's a fountain pen or something else of this nature that you give for a birthday present or a Christmas present. You give it to him and you give him your greetings and why you give it to him and so forth and then he accepts it and takes it home. And he says, 'I don't know whether I like it or not. I'm not sure. Oh, I'll probably have some use for it.' You've given to him but it's very possible that it's something he already has or it's something he's already bought for himself. He really doesn't need it.

And then you hear in class about knowing, in use with the Law of prayer, of healing. And you see, this is where the real crux starts to come in. We say 'Faith is the extension of our consciousness without seeing. We know that it works, we have faith that knowing works.' But you know, our Father went a step further. And when He made this creation, He said 'I'll make it this way, and I'll create these beings down here and this little ball down here. I don't know what I'll call it but I'll put a little ball down here'. And he said, 'Well, if I make it so it works here, well I suppose it's got to work for all the rest of them'. He had already accepted, He had already given you the right even before you knew it, even before you knew what the gift was, He had given you the right to use it.

This is the same as what you might say in electricity we call resonance, or in sound. The Father spoke the Word we say - Sure he spoke the Word - did you hear it? No, you didn't hear it but you've still got the right to use it. Because your being, the very substance of your being entitles you to use it. It's a gift. This is the love of God extended into the reality of matter. I don't have to get up in the sanctuary and express my glory and thanks to Him in order for Him or His power to work through me. It isn't a conditional gift. It isn't a thing which He says, 'You may'. He made it that way.

Before you came into existence in the material plane, you had it. When you were on the other plane, you had it. And it doesn't make any difference whether you're on this earth or some other orb, you will have it; it's still with you. You can't even separate yourself from the gift. You can use it destructively and you've still got it. This is the love of God for His creation.
"Already Given" page 3

This is the love of God that has brought down our Master Jesus. And was he crucified because he had to be? No. He was already crucified when he entered into birth in the Blessed Mother. This was a destination which he had picked in order to accomplish this, the atonement. And in this day, moving toward the Easter season as we look and we read of these things on the Easter tide, we go through the usual thoughts about his journey toward Golgotha, Jerusalem and Golgotha and yet we never think of the fact that he came in with this destined to be. He had ordained it himself. He had already given it before he entered into the flesh.

And here again we have one of the great mysteries, one of the things which the churches have never explained. They say, 'Oh, this is God exemplified into the living flesh. God came down into the flesh in man, in this man, Jesus.' Sure He did. Because our Lord and Master, when he came into life did exactly the same thing that his Father did when He created man and these orbs. Before he had gone through the Council of the Sanhedrin, before he had spent his forty days and forty nights in the wilderness, before he wandered over the multitude of roads and miles and hours of teaching, he had already given his life. Regardless of what we did on this earth, regardless of what they said, regardless of those that loved him or those that hated him, he still had given his life. And so he went through life, his entire life, from his first conscious knowing until the last breath on Calvary when he said, "Oh Father, why hast thou forsaken me?" And when he gave up the ghost he knew it then as he knew it at birth.

But somehow or other in the picturing of this adventure and this journey, they seem to start forty days before that. They should have started thirty-three years before that, and several lifetimes before that. For he too had attained the love of his Father and knew and stood in the image of Him. This was God came down and made flesh in man. And this is what we have that was given unto us by the Father. We may use the Word. We may have faith, but the faith is already a shadow and it is the shadow of our love which we have received from the Father. Of this he says, and this is why he says, the door of reformation is always open, "Seek and ye shall find, knock and it will be opened unto you."

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. So it is done.
